When dealing with complex geologic situations, more robust methods for imaging the subsurface are required. Depth migration is able to account for the lateral velocity variations and sharp contrasts that seismic time migration cannot solve on its own. Reservoir geophysical utilizes a reliable Kirchhoff depth migration algorithm along with advanced tomographic software to accurately and efficiently image complicated subsurface geology. Our network of cluster machines provides the computer power needed to depth migrate large seismic surveys in a timely fashion. We work closely with our partners to integrate well data with our depth migrations to ensure that seismic horizons are imaged as close as possible to their corresponding well tops.
